Production line for cardboard packaging for liquid products (Pure-pak) was opened in Semey sponsored by Qazaqstan Investment Corporation JSC

On December 23, 2025, Semey hosted the opening ceremony of a new line for the production of cardboard packaging for liquid products (Pure-pak) as part of the expansion of existing production. The investment project was implemented by Kazpoligraf LLP sponsored by Qazaqstan Investment Corporation JSC (a subsidiary of Baiterek NMH JSC) through Baiterek Venture Fund JSC PEF as part of the Concept for the Development of the Manufacturing Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2023-2029. Currently, the project is managed by a management company represented by BV Management LLP.

The implementation of the expansion project will become a significant driver of the economic development of the region, as the launch of a new production line will expand sales markets not only in Kazakhstan by covering the shortage of domestic production (as part of import substitution programs), but will also increase exports to neighboring countries.

The new Pure-Pak production line complies with modern international quality and environmental safety standards, and also provides for the introduction of advanced technologies and equipment from global manufacturers to ensure high productivity and stable product quality. The production capacity of the new line for the production of cardboard packaging for liquid products (Pure-pak) is up to 49.5 million units per month, having increased from 9 million units per month, or more than 5 times.

The project's support from Qazaqstan Investment Corporation JSC is aimed at developing the manufacturing industry, stimulating entrepreneurship and creating sustainable production chains with high added value. Kazpoligraf LLP project is an example of successful cooperation between government and business in the implementation of industrially significant initiatives, confirming the effectiveness of government support mechanisms for the development of the industrial sector and increasing the export potential of Kazakhstan.
